Winston-Salem- Mr. Linley Franklin Perryman, 89, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2009 at his home. He was born December 29, 1919 in Davidson County to the late Elmer and Nova Wagner Perryman. Mr. Perryman was a member of College Park Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He retired from Bob Neil Pontiac/Mercedes with 37 years of service. Preceding him in death was his brother, Edwin Perryman and a brother-in-law, Frank Hunter. Surviving is his wife, Luella Welch Perryman of the home; son, Joe Perryman of Winston-Salem; sister, Mary Perryman Hunter of Midway; sister-in-law, Hilda Perryman of Midway; several nieces and nephews and his devoted friend ""Lucky."" A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at College Park Baptist Church. Burial will follow at 1:30 pm at Mountlawn Memorial Park in N. Wilkesboro. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forsyth Humane Society 61 Miller St. Winston-Salem, NC 27104 or to the Winston-Salem Radio Control Flying Club PO Box 672 King, NC 27021.
