Linda Faye Styers Willard

WILLARD - KING Mrs. Linda Faye Styers Willard, 68, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 19, 2012. She was born July 27, 1944 in Forsyth County to the late Bessie Evola Creeson Styers and James Wallace Styers Sr. Mrs. Willard was the most special mother any two children could have. She was a devoted wife and homemaker for 45 years. Mrs. Willard was a caregiver to many family and church members over the years. She loved the Lord and her family very dearly. Mrs. Willard was a faithful member of Poplar Springs Church of Christ and attended as her health permitted. She was loved by so many and will be missed by many more. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Willard was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Gray Willard; brother, Jim Styers; and sister, Diane Styers Snow. She is survived by her loving children, Angie Willard and Michael Willard (Kelly); three siblings: Barbara Styers Hill (Billy), Doug Styers (Rosalee), and Vickie Styers; a very dear aunt, Polly Lawson; sister-in-law, Christine Styers; and also, numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Poplar Springs Church of Christ with Don Wallace, Minister and Ralph Sproles, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Poplar Springs Church of Christ, 7120 NC Hwy 66 S., King, NC 27021.
