Linda Beeson Thomas

WINSTON SALEM - Ms. Linda Lou Beeson Thomas, 75, died Monday, March 9, 2015 at her home. Linda was born October 4, 1939 in Forsyth County. Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren. She collected dolls, enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and was a fan of UNC Tar Heels basketball.
Surviving are her son, Stefan Thomas (wife, Angela) of Henderson, NV; a daughter, Christina Motes of Ashford, AL; six grandchildren, TJ Duvall, Rebecca, Sarah and Caroline Thomas, Kayla and Clifton Lyles; two sisters, Phyllis Trexler and Shirley Terrell; and three brothers, Leon, Dee and Howard Beeson.
A graveside service will be held Monday, May 11, 2015 at Mt. Gur Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the University of North Carolina Education Foundation, at P.O. Box 309 Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
