Linda Elaine Elgin Stewart

Mrs. Linda Elaine Elgin Stewart, 74, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 25, 2016 at her home while surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 8, 1941 in McDowell County, WV to the late Elizabeth Belton Elgin and Sidney Eugene Elgin. Mrs. Stewart was a member of Victory Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading the Bible and taking care of the elderly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Eugene Stewart. She is survived by five children: Robert Stewart (Nancy), Dustin Stewart (Darlene), Eugenia Hazelton (Tommy), Madeline Lester (Darrell), and Ernest Stewart; six grandchildren: Breanna, Austin, TJ, Ashley, Clayton, and Kayla; two great-grandchildren, CJ and RJ; four siblings: Bobby, Sandra, Rose, and Vickie; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 28 at Victory Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Justin Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Interment will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 at the Cooper Family Cemetery in Skin Fork, WV.
