Linda Marie Hutcherson Parker
Mrs. Linda Hutcherson Parker, 82, passed away Monday June 5, 2023. She was born February 2, 1941, to the late George Lowell Hutcherson and Geneva Simmons Hutcherson in Forsyth County NC. She graduated from Mineral Springs High School in 1959. Linda was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Rural Hall. She had a true servant’s heart, making sure that all who entered her home felt the love that she so willingly shared. She loved her family very much and especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, great-grandchildren, and little dog Sandal. Linda loved her home, enjoyed seeing her neighbors, spending time in her sunroom, and maintaining a beautiful yard. For over forty years Linda and the love of her life, Bob, owned and operated Quality Carpets in Wallburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings: G.L. Hutcherson, Bob Hutcherson, Don Hutcherson, Phil Hutcherson, and Hilda Waddell. Linda is survived by her loving husband; Bob Parker, a daughter; Kelly Dodson (John), two granddaughters; Hunter Whitt (Hunter), Ashton Bathrick (Kaleb), four great-grandchildren; Jonas Whitt, Shepherd Whitt, Henry Whitt, and Fischer Bathrick, five siblings; Genene Watson, Joe Hutcherson, Sharron Unser (Dave), Judy Smith, Vic Hutcherson (Karen), and a brother-in-law; Larry Starling (Gwyn). A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday June 9, 2023, at Crestview Memorial Park with Rev. Stephen Mangum officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to H.O.P.E of Winston-Salem 335 NW Crawford Pl, Winston-Salem NC, 27105.
