Linda Beason Norman

Kernersville – Mrs. Linda Beason Norman, 79, the devoted wife of Ralph Norman for 61 years, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 26, 2023. Linda was an avid cook. She loved to spend time with her family and prepare meals for them. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Beason and her sister, Doris Swafford.

In addition to her loving husband, Ralph, Linda leaves behind her loving family; three children, Scott Norman (Terri) of Kernersville, Jeff Norman of Denver, NC, and Sandy Whitman (Daniel Fisher) of High Point; five grandchildren, Matthew Norman (Anna), Ashley Norman (Tinisha), Hayden Cobb (Austin), Maggie Whitman, and Grant Norman; six great grandchildren; as well as her devoted sisters, nieces, and nephews. Her family was such a comfort for her during her extended illness.

A graveside service for Linda will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory with Pastor Jamie Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm on Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will also be receiving friends during the week at the home of Linda’s son, Scott and Terri Norman.
