Linda Dixon Kite Marion

Mrs. Linda Dixon Kite Marion, age 59 of Pilot Mountain passed away Friday morning, March 5, 2010 at her home. Linda was born in Franklin County, VA June 15, 1950 to the late Kermit Eldridge and the late Elsie Maude Trail Dixon. She was a member of King Community Church. Linda was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a firm believer in that your family came first and her grandchildren were truly important to her. She loved them dearly. Linda enjoyed to travel and was an avid bingo player. In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by two sisters; Lorine Pinnix and Alpha Louise Dixon. Surviving are her husband of five years of marriage J. D. ""Danny"" Marion of the home. Two daughters: Patricia Kite of King and Alicia Kite Womack of Tobaccoville. Four grandchildren; Jessica Nicole Womack, Ryley Jordan Payne, Austin and Dakoda Batchelor. One sister; Donnie Osier of King and one brother; W.J. (Wanda) Dixon of Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be held Monday afternoon March 8, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall by Bro. Don Collins. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall Sunday evening March 7, 2010 from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stokes County, P.O. Box 10, Danbury, NC 27016 The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff at Forsyth Medical Center 2nd floor GI Unit for all the exceptional care given to Linda during her stay.
