Linda Faye Griffin Carlyle

Mrs. Linda Fay Griffin Carlyle, 83, of Rural Hall, NC left a change of address notification on July 7^th, 2023, she left her earthly home as Jesus welcomed her to her heavenly home with these words; “Well Done Thy Good & Faithful Servant, Enter In To The Joy Of The Lord!” Linda was born on November 24^th, 1939, in Forsyth County to the late Thomas and Mildred Griffin. She was employed by Princess House Interiors for 18 years. Linda enjoyed being around all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed flowers, taking care of her yard and decorating her front porch. Up until her illness, she faithfully attended Asbury Pentecostal Church, where she enjoyed attending her Sunday School Class, the Golden Eagles. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband; Redin W. Carlyle, a son; Mitchell Carlyle, and one brother; Richard (Dick) Griffin. She is survived by a sister; Mildred (Millie) Craig, two sons; Mark Carlyle and wife Lori, and Rodney Carlyle, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren: Garrett Carlyle and wife Gwendolyn and their two daughters Abigail & Lilah, Brooke Carlyle McCauley & Chris and their two sons William & Jackson, Cara Carlyle Kelemecz and Andrew and their three daughters; Atlee, Kaylee & Emilee. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday July 14, 2023, at Asbury Pentecostal Church, 1040 Pentecostal Church Drive Westfield, NC 27053. The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM-3:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Asbury PHC Cemetery fund.
