Linda Carroll Gentry

Mrs. Linda Carroll Gentry, 68, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mrs. Gentry was born on September 9, 1944 in Davidson County to Darnell Harding Carroll and Irene Crews Carroll. Linda was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She retired from U.S. Airways. Preceding Mrs. Gentry in death is her father, Darnell Harding Carroll. Surviving Mrs. Gentry are her husband, Clark Steve ""Bucky"" Gentry of the home; one son, Darren Stephen Gentry and wife Jennifer of Iron Station, NC; one grandson, Brandon Gentry; her mother, Irene Carroll of Winston-Salem; mother-in-law, Frances Sealey of High Point, NC; two brothers-in-law, Roland Gentry and wife DeeDee of Winston-Salem and Chris Sealey and wife Kathy of Statesville, NC; two sisters-in-law, Kim E. Puckett and husband Ricky of Winston-Salem and Robin D. Moore and husband Randy of Supply, NC. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Brett Kitko officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
