Linda M. Boehm

Ms. Linda Mader Boehm, 62, of Advance passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Ms. Boehm was born on June 2, 1949 in Chicago, IL to John V. and Ruth Brazel Mader. She retired from Lucent Technologies as a Computer Programmer with 31 years of service during which she acquired her Bachelor Degree from Mary Washington College. After her retirement, she worked as a Teacher's Aide to special needs children in both the Winston-Salem Forsyth County and DeKalb (Illinois) school districts. She was a member of Hillsdale United Methodist Church. Ms. Boehm was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Roberta Mader. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Vicki Wisniewski and husband David of Clemmons; three grandchildren, Amanda, Tyler, and Peyton Wisniewski; two brothers, John and Peter Mader; and a niece Kristen Creger. A memorial service will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2011 at Hillsdale United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Webb officiating. Memorials may be made to the Kate B.
