Linda Dale Gambill Beck

Ms. Linda Dale Gambill Beck, 66, of Sunrise, Florida, died on July 18, 2016, at Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Linda was born on May 22, 1950, to Eunice V. Gambill and George D. Gambill, Jr. in Forsyth County and graduated from North Davidson High School in 1968. She started working for Solair in 1988 and continued her career with Custom Plastic Card Company, where she worked for 22 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Sallie Born Gambill; and step-sister, Barbara Miller. Surviving are one sister, Carol King (husband Paul); one brother, Alan Gambill; three nephews, Richard Gambill (husband Robert), Justin Gambill, and Shawn Gambill; one step-sister, Gail Routt (husband Jack); two step-brothers, Crawford Born and Clayton Born (wife Cheryl); her beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her special friends, co-workers, roommate Larry Spisak, and Pepper the kitty. A funeral service will be held at 5:00pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with a reception following. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at 9:30am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
