Lillie Belle Mayberry Canada

Mrs. Lillie Belle Canada, 96, of Willowbrook Healthcare Center in Yadkinville (formerly of 351 Junia Ave. Winston-Salem, NC) died on Sunday September 4, 2011. She was born on June 28, 1915 in Yadkin County to the late Burley and Eva Mayberry. She had worked at Arista Mills and retired from Taylor Brothers. She was a charter member of Pine Chapel Moravian Church. Preceding Mrs. Canada in death along with her parents are her husband, Franklin Owen Canada; a son, Lenny Canada; one sister, Hattie Lee Doss and three brothers, Raymond, Marvin and B.J. Mayberry. She is survived by a son, Larry Canada (Betty) of Lewisville, NC; five grandchildren, Paula McDonald (Benny), Rodney Canada (Edy), Shannon Canada, Amy Poole and Karen Canada and seven great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday September 7, 2011 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor James Demby and Rev. Norwood Greene officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 on Tuesday September 6, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pine Chapel Moravian Church, 324 Goldfloss St. Winston-Salem, NC 27127 or Family Focus at Willowbrook, 333 East Lee St. Yadkinville, NC 27055.
