Lillian Naomi Plowman Schoolfield

Winston Salem-Lillian Naomi Plowman Schoolfield, 87, passed away Monday, February 27, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth Co. to the late William David and Dovie Emma Bullard Plowman. Mrs. Schoolfield retired from RJ Reynolds after 34 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Kivett Schoolfield; and a brother, William ""Bug"" Plowman. Surviving are children, Janet Butner and husband, Eddie of Lexington, Jane ""Dink"" Clenney of Winston Salem, and Jim Bullard and wife, Betty of Winston Salem; one sister, Doris Cline of Kernersville; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and two step-daughters, Christine and Debbie. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Norwood Green officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative CareCenter, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
