Lillian Payne Lyde

Mrs. Lillian Payne Lyde 78 of Winston Salem passed away Sunday June 7, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born April 13, 1937 in Davidson County to John and Maggie Lewis Payne. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles and Zeb Payne; and one sister, Alice Payne . Surviving are her loving husband of 43 years, Clary Lyde of the home; three daughters, Constance Allen, Melody Sheridan and husband Ed, and Sheila Redd all of Winston Salem; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; also a host of friends and family; and a special friend, Mark Redd. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday , June 11, at 2:00 PM at Hayworth- Miller Silas Creek Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
