FREEMAN KING, Mrs. Lillian Moser Freeman, 86, passed away Monday, September 15, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born on May 16, 1922 in Guilford County to Wiley T. and Nonnie Hutchins Moser. Mrs. Freeman had lived in the Stanleyville Community for a number of years until her declining health and she became a resident at Rose Tara Plantation in King for the past few years. She had retired from Bassick-Sack in 1982. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her husband James Haywood Freeman, her parents, a grandson Chris Freeman and several sisters and brothers. Lillian enjoyed gospel music and had many friends at Rosa Tara. She will be greatly missed by her family who loved her very much and is survived by her children, Jim (Johnna) Freeman of Lavonia, GA., Harry (Susan) Freeman of Galax, VA., Noley Joyce of Pfafftown, David (Patricia) Freeman, Sue (Ted) Anders, Richard Freeman and Shirley (Randy) Smith all of King, thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, September 19, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Pastor Ricky Shrewsbury officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Thursday September 18, 2008 at the funeral home. Memorial donationd may be made to Hospice, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.( John 6;47, Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth in me hath ever lasting life.)
