Libby Doris Cardwell

Ms. Libby Doris Cardwell, 77, of Advance, NC formerly of Panama City, FL and Lorain, OH passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024. She was born February 9, 1947 to Rufus Dever Cardwell and Doris Nell Craig Cardwell. Libby was of the Christian faith. She was an RN traveling nurse for many years and later retired as the Director of Nursing at Life Management Center in Panama City, FL. Libby was a constant cheerleader and mender of broken hearts and dreams. She grew flowers in the darkest parts of all of us. Libby was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Thomas Nelson Toothman and three brothers, Edward. Glen and Charles. Surviving are her four children, Dawn Thompson (Ken), Patricia Krasienko (Tony), James Toothman and Michael Toothman (Jill); 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family ask a contribution in her name to be made to a local animal shelter.
