Leslie Shea Blair

Walnut Cove-Leslie Shea Blair, 25, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009. She was born June 22, 1983 in Forsyth Co. to Jerrell Ray Blair of Kernersville, and Melissa Watts Blair of Walnut Cove. Leslie was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, where she worked with the youth and participated in mission trips. She graduated from UNC-Charlotte and was pursuing a degree in the field of radiology, and was employed with Forsyth Medical Center. Leslie dearly loved her family and friends, and had devoted her life to the Lord. In addition to her parents surviving are her brother, Travis Ray Blair and wife I-Li of Greensboro; grandparents, Preston and Patricia Watts of Walnut Cove and Lyndon and Bertha Westmoreland of Walkertown; fianc郩, Phillip Ball of High Point; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Edgewood Baptist Church with Pastor Shawn Dobbs and Dr. Richard Odom officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery in Belews Creek. The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 1:00 pm prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
