Mrs. Leslie Gale Anders, 37, wonderful wife and mother, went home to be with her Lord and Savior September 24, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Surry County on September 29, 1972 the daughter of Howard Leslie Amoss and the late Emily Quesinberry Amoss. Leslie loved the Lord, her family and her students. She was a National Board Certified Teacher and taught at Lowrance Middle School in Winston-Salem. Leslie faithfully attended Agape Faith in Clemmons and had a great love of music. She is survived by her husband, John G. ""Gabe"" Anders Sr. of the home, her two children, John G. ""Little Gabe"" Anders Jr. and Angelica N. Anders, her parents, Howard and Barbara Amoss of Fancy Gap, VA, her sister, Lucille Grace Nottingham and husband Mark of Fancy Gap, VA, three step-sisters, Tammy Smith and husband Craig of Mt. Airy, Sheila Watts and husband Danny of Hillsville, VA and Audrey Tucker and husband Todd of Mt. Airy, a sister-in-law, Deana Anders of King and her mother and father-in-law, Mary Ann and Gary Anders of Rural Hall. A private graveside service for Leslie will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6-9 Monday evening, September, 27, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Susan G.
