Leroy Smith

KERNERSVILLE - Leroy Smith, 81, died Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Leroy was born on June 11, 1934 in SC to Willie Victor and Ruby Brown Smith. Leroy retired from Adams Millis and always shared a smile. He was a ""fix-it"" man and was well known in the community by his ""adorned"" truck!
In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by two wives, Louise Greason and Louise Frye; grandson, Philip Hallman; son-in-law, Pat Hallman; and 13 brothers & sisters.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Marie Smith; a daughter, Sheila Hallman; 2 grandchildren, Stacy White (Jason) and Matthew Hallman; 4 great grandchildren, Bowen and Jackson White, and Zoe and Emma Rose Hallman; a sister, Sandy Rominger (Billy); and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2015 at the funeral home.
