Leomia Nelson Tuttle

Mrs. Leomia Nelson Tuttle, 73 of Winston-Salem died Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the Lutheran Home. Mrs. Tuttle was born May 26, 1936 in Forsyth County, a daughter of the late Walter Lee Nelson and the late Lillie Jackson Nelson. She was employed with Hanes Hosiery for 17 years, and was of the primitive Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Tuttle in 2002. She is survived by her sons, Mike Tuttle, and Ray Tuttle and wife Carolyn, sisters, Linda Carol and Ruth Wooten, grandchildren, Meranda Tuttle and Cassandra Tuttle. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday September 19, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. John Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
