Leo Norman Schuller

Mr. Leo Norman Schuller passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Hospice and Palliative Care in Winston-Salem. He was born in Mason City, Iowa to his late parents, Harold and Alice Schuller. Leo was a devoted husband to his wife, Mary, especially while she encountered health problems that made great demands on him. As a father with love for his daughter, it was demonstrated in his every action. A loving grandpa that, out of love, and with great patience could solve any problem and fix anything. He was truly an amazing person to all he came in contact with. Leo demonstrated God's love as a servant and he never turned down a call for help. Leo was one who loved building things and used a level and a tape measure to make sure we built things right and he did so with a quiet dignity and a love for his fellowman. A good and faithful servant has gone home.
Leo is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Schuller; parents, stepmother Louise Schuller; brother, Laverne Schuller. He is survived by his daughter, Christie Schuller Olsen (Ken); grandchildren Anah Mae Olsen, Addy Lynn Olsen, and Kenneth Leo Olsen. In addition, sisters Joann (Richard) Hauger of Tempe, Arizona; Ellen Dieterman of Freeport Illinois, and Phyllis (Joel) Fogerty of Lincoln, Nebraska. He is also survived by his cats, ""Frisky"" and ""Patches"".
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10th 2015 at 12:00p.m. at Northridge Baptist Church with Pastor Gordan Flanagan officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:30. Entombment will follow immediately following the service at Crestview Memorial Park. Military rites will be observed at the cemetery.
