Leo Aldine Cline

Mr. Leo Aldine Cline, 81, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born September 18, 1931 in Forsyth County to Luther M. and Emma Kinnamon Cline. Mr. Cline was a retired veteran of the U. S. Air Force having served in the Korean Conflict as well as the Vietnam Conflict with 20 years of service. He also retired from Micro-Fibers with 20 years of service. He was an active member of the Clemmons VFW Post 2010 where he was a member of the Honor Guard. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed whittling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Alvin; and three sisters, Frances Blake, Elizabeth Hayes and Eva Grace Lundy. Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, Peggy C. Cline of the home; two sons, David Cline of Clemmons and Veril Williams and wife Jane of Welcome; two daughters, Rose Eller of Winston-Salem and Wendy D. Cline of Pfafftown; six grandchildren, Deanna, Joseph, Patricia, Jessica, Travis and Jacob; and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
