WINSTON-SALEM-Mrs. Lenell Wehner Craver, 69, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Craver was born in Chicago, IL on December 2, 1942 to the late Norman Wehner and Bernadine Wehner. She was in the first graduating class of Bishop Mcguinness Catholic Memorial School. Lenell retired from Lucent Technologies, formerly known as Western Electric/AT&T. She also worked part-time at Dillard's Dept. Store during her retirement. She was a member of New Philadelphia Moravian Church. Mrs. Craver was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving Mrs. Craver are her husband, Larry James Craver of Winston-Salem; a daughter, Karen Phillips and husband Doug of Winston-Salem; a son, Kevin Craver and wife Judy of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Tyler Phillips and Garrett Phillips; one sister, Lynn Maginnis and husband Jack of Winston-Salem; one brother, Tim Wehner and wife Suzanne of Purlear, NC; a niece, Jacquelyn McMillen and husband Jason of Ocala, FL; and one nephew, Brendan Maginnis and wife Katerina of Charlotte, NC. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Dr. David Marcus, Jr. officiating. A graveside service will follow at Arcadia United Methodist Church with Rev. Stephen Hoyt officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
