Mrs. Lemian Alice (Kime) Pierson passed away peacefully Monday, December 28, 2020 at the age of 93. She was a resident at Vienna Village Assisted Living Residence in Pfafftown, NC. She was born in Fayette, New York to the late James George Stacey Kime and Edna May Manges. Lemian was a member of the Waterloo High School Class of 1947. Lemian devoted her life to caring for her family including her mother and sister-in-law until they passed. She worked for Sylvania in Seneca Falls, NY and retired from Elston Electronics in Phelps, NY. She spent the last few years of her life living with her children in the states of New York, Florida, and North Carolina. She enjoyed helping with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and crafting projects including painted ceramics and beading. Lemian was an avid reader and was addicted to jigsaw puzzles, adult coloring books, and word searches. Mrs. Pierson was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Waterloo, NY. Surviving are her son, James (Jim) Pierson and wife, Jackie, of Pfafftown, NC; her daughter, Jo Ann Slovak and her husband, Mike of Bath, NY; and her daughter, Karen Schaup Daeffler of Leesburg, FL.; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, five brothers, her daughter, Susan Mary Craig McDonald, and her son-in-law, David Daeffler. She will be laid to rest in Waterloo, New York later in 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or Calvary Lutheran Church, 2414 State Route 414 North, Waterloo, NY 13165.
