Lela Foster Wright

Mrs. Lela Foster Wright, 69, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born March 6, 1946 in Forsyth County to the late John Hiatt and Ruby Brewer Foster. Mrs. Wright graduated from North Forsyth High School. She grew up going to church at Pine Chapel Moravian and later attended Salem Baptist Church. Mrs. Wright enjoyed making crafts. Preceding her in death was her husband, James Wright. Surviving is a son, Daniel Wright (Donna) of Lexington; five grandchildren, Scott, Daniel Jon, Jelshia, Cassidy, and Jamie; three great-grandchildren; also surviving is a sister, Jeannie Foster Rowland of Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Salem Baptist Church with Dr. Howard Wilburn officiating. A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, June 19, 2015 at Salisbury National Cemetery.
