Mr. Lawrence Gideon Tuttle, 90, of Winston-Salem, passed away early Wednesday morning, December 27, 2023, at Trinity Elms in Clemmons, NC. He was born in Stokes County on March 3, 1933, to the late Clady Gideon Tuttle and Myrtis Montgomery Tuttle. At one time Lawrence and his wife Kathy lived at Belews Creek and High Rock Lake in Lexington, where he was able to enjoy his passion in life such as riding people in their boat. While he loved spending time with his family, he also had a passion for fishing. Lawrence was the proud owner of Lawrence Tuttle & Sons on Silas Creek Parkway for many years. Finally, he retired at 86 years old to be with his wife, Kathy. He was preceded in death by son Randy Tuttle. Lawrence; two brothers, Ed Tuttle and Wallace Tuttle; and one sister, Margaret Tuttle Harrell. Lawrence is survived by wife Kathy Tuttle; son Mike Tuttle (Phillis); grandchildren Matt Tuttle (September), Tonya Lennon (Stacy), Mandy Eudy (Jeremy), Cyndi Tuttle Banks, Austin Tuttle, and Colby Tuttle (Shelby); great grandchildren Allison and Grace Tuttle, Dylan Bradford, Connor Money, Jake and Morgan Eudy, Jaxen and Rhett Banks, Addilyn, Anistyn and Rylan Shore, and Harper and Rowen Tuttle; brothers Don Tuttle and Steve Tuttle; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, January 3, 2023, at Winston Salem First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Wesley Tuttle and Rev. Tim Wolfe officiating. A burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4 PM - 7 PM on Tuesday, January 2, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
