Lavan Hayes Horton

Ms. Lavan Hayes Horton, 65, of Mocksville, NC, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born June 2, 1957 in Davie County to Bobby Donald Hayes and Dorothy Hendrix Hayes. Lavan was a member of Cornatzer United Methodist Church and worked for Novant Health for many years. Surviving are her son, Chris Horton and wife Kristy and three grandchildren, Chloe, Aiden and Gavin. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
