Laura B. Grandma, Oma) Roan

Mrs. Laura B. (Mom, Grandma, Oma) Roan, 77, of Winston-Salem went to be with Jesus Wednesday, September 9,2009 She was born April 16, 1932 in Kassel, Germany. Laura loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was loved by many and loved to please all who knew her. Her hobbies were doing puzzles, cooking and growing flowers. Her laugh was infectious as was her smile. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Kilmer and husband, Dennis of Fort Worth, TX, Vickie Hall and husband, Gary of Lewisville and Julie Hauser and husband, Clay of Clemmons; eight grandchildren, Brandon and Heather Hall, Cammie and Krista Hauser, Erin Eldrenkamp, Andrea Perkowsky and Dennis and Joely Kilmer and three great grandchildren, Jacob, Jaxon and Jaidin. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of NC, 3801 Lake Boone Trail, Suite 190, Raleigh, NC 27607.
