Laura Eaton

Kernersville – Laura Mae Bowman Eaton, 75, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born on July 19, 1946, in Surry County to the late William Aaron and Pheobe Ann Pack Bowman. Laura loved to spend her time working outdoors, admiring the birds and flowers, fishing, and trips to the beach. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Eaton; and two brothers, Alex Bowman, and Harvey Bowman.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, James F. Eaton, Jr.,  Melissa Eaton, Tammy Eaton, and Kristy Galvan; her four grandchildren, Christopher Eaton, Patrick Eaton, Salvador Galvan, and Elijah Eaton; and her two great grandchildren, Brayden Eaton, and Shylynn Eaton.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
