Larry Gray Wood

Mr. Larry Gray Wood, 60 of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born August 26, 1954 in Forsyth County to Noel Douglas and Ethel Stine Wood. Larry was formerly employed with Hanes Hosiery and Lorillard Tobacco Company. Surviving are a twin brother, Barry Ray Wood and wife, Christina; a sister, Diane Vaughn and husband, Jack; and two nephews, Alex Noel Wood and Jeremy Douglas Wood and wife, Cat. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mental Health Association, 1509 Hawthorne Road, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27103 or to the Forsyth Humane Society, 51 Miller Street, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27103.
