Larry Wayne Williams

Larry Wayne Williams, 61, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born to the late Wayne Robert Williams and Cora Ruth Moses Williams on May 3, 1962, in Forsyth County. Larry and Karen were high school sweethearts, and after 43 years of marriage, the soulmates were still inseparable. Larry was an avid muscle car enthusiast and owner.  He was an animal lover and devoted “fur baby” dad. He will always be described as the most loyal and honest husband, son, brother and friend anyone could ask for. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Kermit Johnson; sisters, Diane Boles and Brenda Denny. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Johnson Williams; brother, Hank Williams (Angie); mother-in-law, Ramona Johnson; nephews, Josh Blackburn (Lindsey) and Robbie Williams; niece, Kristen Williams; great-nephews, Walker Williams and Shawn Williams; great-niece, Baby Kallie; and beloved “fur baby,” Surie. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm before the service at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jason Holley of Hanes Baptist Church.
