Larry Daniel Weaver

Mr. Larry Daniel Weaver, 68, of Tobaccoville was born December 29, 1940 in Forsyth County to the late William Daniel Weaver and Louise Speas Weaver. He died January 21, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center after a brief hospital stay. Mr. Weaver was a lifelong member of Mizpah Moravian Church where he served on the Church's board. He also served as Chief usher, a Sunday School Teacher, Treasurer, and was a member of the Men's Fellowship. Mr. Weaver was employed at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company where he retired with 37 years service. He was a member of Forsyth's Cattlemen's Association. He loved farming and livestock. Mr. Weaver is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Williams Weaver and one daughter, Becky Weaver. Also surviving are his brother, Jerry Weaver and wife, Linda; niece, Cindy Arrington and husband, Norm; nephew, Greg Weaver; great-niece and nephew, Sarah and Andrew Arrington; great-nephews, Adam and Jacob Weaver; sisters-in-law, Jo Ann Cromer and Wilma Sanders. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 24th at Mizpah Moravian Church with the Rev. Charles Fishel officiating. Burial will follow in God's Acre. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. this evening at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
