Larry Carl Swaim

KERNERSVILLE-Larry Carl Swaim, 67, a devoted husband , father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 25, 2015 . He was born September 26, 1947 in Forsyth Co. to the late Arthur Lindsey Swaim, Jr. and Helen Audrey Leonard Swaim. Larry loved going on cruises and he truly enjoyed his job at Holly Poultry where he was employed for over 40 years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Surviving are his wife, Nellie Wright Swaim; daughter, Tonya Mock; sons, KC (April) Myers and Brandon (Rebecca) Swaim; seven grandchildren, Heather, Justin, Ashley, Skyler, Hunter, Kris, and Haylen; one great-grandchild, Ayden; sister, Joanie ( Tony) Lane; nephews, Chris Lane, Cory (Ashley) Lane; great-nephew, Callaway; other extended family; and his beloved canine buddy Bandit. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Mark Avery officiating.
