Larry Ray Scott

KERNERSVILLE-Larry Ray Scott, 67, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011. He was born July 25, 1944 in Forsyth Co. to the late Buford and Daisy Lawson Scott. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Charlotte Cannon, Evelyn Ayers, and Betty Floyd. Surviving are his wife, Martha Franklin Ward Scott of the home; children, Larry Scott, Jr., and Barbara Whaley of Winston Salem; extended family, Henry Blake Ward and wife, Chari of Kernersville, Jonas Ward of Winston Salem, Gary ""Sergio"" Ward of Kernersville, Valerie York and husband, Mike of Colfax; grandchildren, Ronald James Whaley, Christy LouAnn Whaley; great-grandchild, Alexia Grace Madina; sisters, Helen Scott, Sonja Scott, and twin sister, Linda Williams; one brother, B.W. Scott, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Charlotte. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
