Larry Maurice McBryde

Kernersville - Mr. Larry Maurice McBryde, 67, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center. Larry was born February 10, 1944, in Guilford County to the late Maurice Holt and Ethel Venable McBryde. Mr. McBryde was an active man who enjoyed working on many various projects. His love for animals made him especially loyal to the Humane Society. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Wikle McBryde. Surviving are two sons, Jaret M. McBryde (wife, Tatum) of Kernersville and William ""Rusty"" McBryde, of Harrisburg; two aunts, Dot Chilton, of Boone and Pauline Christman of Gibsonville. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, January 26, 2012, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Mike Gianopulos officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
