Larry Wallace "Mully" Kegley

Mr. Larry Wallace ""Mully"" Kegley, 70, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at his home. He was born in Carroll Co., VA on December 2, 1944 the son of the late James Wallace Kegley and Virginia Irene Robinson Kegley. Mr. Kegley was of the Methodist faith and was owner/operator of Larry Kegley Trucking, and was in the trucking industry for 30 years. He served his country proudly in the United States Army Reserves. Mully never met a stranger and always loved to laugh. He will be missed greatly by his family, friends and his trucking family. Mully is survived by a daughter; April Acquaviva of Galax, VA, a son; Willie Kegley (Brittany) of Walnut Cove, a grandson; Tyler James Acquaviva, a granddaughter; Arianna Kegley, a sister; Pat Lineberry (Ellis) of King and a niece; Wendy Robertson (Greg). He is also survived by his sidekick and friend; Dale ""Jethro"" Wagner. Funeral service will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Ernie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Woodlawn, VA. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 prior to the service at the funeral home.
