Larry Wayne Hicks

Mr. Larry Wayne Hicks, age 67, passed away Monday December 14th, 2015 in Claymont, DE. Larry was born on August 7, 1948 in Forsyth County to Frank and Francis Howard Hicks. He worked as a system / database programmer and administrator for most of his life. He was proceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Karen Hicks of Claymont, DE; one daughter, Elizabeth Hicks of Kernersville; one son, Jeff Hicks (wife Rae) of Sophia; one stepson, Derek Adler (wife Marianne) of Brick Township, NJ; one stepdaughter, Beth Bush (husband Dennis) of Hamilton, NJ; and six grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Pkwy in Winston-Salem. Interment will follow the service at the Salisbury National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Monday, December 21 at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home.
