Larry Hargrave

Mr. Larry Wayne Hargrave, 80, passed away Tuesday December 28, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born July 16, 1941, in Forsyth County to the late Gilmer Moore Hargrave and Ruby Annie Hargrave. Larry was of the Baptist faith and a devoted husband, dad and friend who loved to spend time with friends and family. After working for Star Foods in his early years he would turn this passion for antiques into his career by owning and operating Main Street Collectibles. Larry also enjoyed car shows and visiting flea markets. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife; Brenda Holland Hargrave, a brother-in-law; Stanley Dunn, and his mother-in-law Alberta Holland. Larry is survived by his two children; Michael Hargrave and Cindy Rescigno (Tim), a sister; Linda Dunn, a niece; Marcie Dunn, and a nephew; Bobby Dunn (LaTeah). The family would like to extend a special thank you for the care and support shown by Dr. Keith Van Zandt, Dr. Gregory Means, and Dr. Scott Satko. A memorial service will be held in Larry’s honor at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, Attention: Finance, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC, 27103.
