Larry Zane Hammack

Mr. Larry Zane Hammack passed away Wednesday evening, May 20, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Larry was born in Forsyth County on October 7, 1932 to the late James and Della Hammack. He served our Country in the US army. Larry worked at Sears in shipping and receiving with 40 years of service, plus worked at auto supply with 14 years of service. He was a highly respected and well liked by everyone he met. Larry also had two cats he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his brother Oakley Hammack, and first wife Frances Kiger Hammack. He is survived by his wife Pat Hammack; Step children Kathy Farley, Brent Kiger, Tim Waddell, and Robin Cable; and granddaughter (who he raised) Mandy Ann Daniel. A Memorial Service will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday May 23, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dalton King and Rev. Jim Saul officiating. Memorials may be made to Kate B.
