Larry Wayne Carter

Mr. Larry Wayne Carter, 77, of 5070 Appalachian Road, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024. Mr. Carter was born in Winston-Salem on May 10, 1947, to Don Edsel Carter, Sr. and Juanita Boyd Carter. He retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company after 35 years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackie Ross Carter, and Charles Randy Carter. Mr. Carter is survived by his wife, Elaine Carter of the home; son, Jason Carter of Winston-Salem; daughter, Erinn Carter Vaughn of Clemmons; grandchildren, Cameron Vaughn, and Cerdwin Carter; brothers, Don Edsel Carter, Jr. (Sylvia) of Germanton, and Michael D. Carter (Janet) of Winston-Salem; special nieces, Teresa Carter, and Cindy Carter; and nephews, Andrew Carter (Mandy), and Matthew Carter (Melissa). No formal services will be held at this time.
