Larry Bailey Sr.

Mr. Larry Craig Bailey Sr. passed away on August 11, 2022, at his home in Winston Salem. He was born on December 4th, 1938, in Edgemoor, SC to the late Thomas Jennings Bailey and Tessie McCorkle Bailey. Larry enjoyed playing golf and singing various types of music. He always cared for and loved his family very much. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Bailey, two brothers, three sisters, and one great-grandson. He is survived by two sons, Larry Craig Bailey Jr. (Karen), and Samuel J. “Butch” Bailey (Diane), a daughter, Kathy Bailey Edwards, two stepdaughters, Kim Combs (Sandy), and Lori Jackson (Ben), thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday August 18, 2022, at Jefferson Christian Church with Pastor Steve Cook officiating.
