Larry Homer Ayers

Mr. Larry Homer Ayers, 71, passed away Saturday November 16, 2024. He was born November 1, 1953, in Stokes County to the late Homer Bobby Ayers and Dorothy Logan Ayers. Larry proudly served his nation in the United States Army, was a member of Pinnacle Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, and retired from B.E. Aerospace. He enjoyed spending time outside, especially tending his garden and working in the yard. In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by two sisters: Shirley Ayers Lawson and Peggy Ayers Blakley. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Josephine Ayers, his sister Joyce Ayers Ledford, as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00PM Saturday November 23, 2024, at Pinnacle Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Horne officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
