Lacy Dean Comer

Mr. Lacy ""Dean"" Comer, age 68, went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, December 15, 2008. Dean was born in Guilford County, February 9, 1940 to the late Lacy Daniel and late Sue Martin Comer. He was a member of Olivet Moravian Church in Lewisville. Dean was a member of the IGO (Independent Garage Owners), member of the Clemmons American Legion Post 119 and a US Navy veteran. He loved the Word of God and was a very kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Surviving is his wife of 33 years; Jannifer ""Jan"" Comer of the home. One son; Chris (Beth) Comer of Winston-Salem. A grandson; Grayson Comer. One sister; Kathy Comer of Archdale and three brothers; Danny (Nell) Comer of Thomasville, Keith (Darien) Comer of Trinity and Mike (Lisa) Comer of Thomasville. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall. Rev. Doug Rights and Pastor Joey Mahassey will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. Military burial rites will be conducted by King American Legion Post 290. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday one hour prior to the funeral services.
