Kyra Noel Farley, known to many as Warley, was born asleep on December 24th, 2016. She is the beloved daughter of Ronnie Leon Farley and Kathryn Elaine Webb Farley of Banner Elk, NC. She was greeted in heaven by two beloved siblings, nicknamed Nailhead and Lilbit, who passed away before their parents had the chance to know much about them.
While Kyra was with us, she showed some signs of her personality. She clearly loved animals, kicking each time one of the cats, Jynx and Mister, was around. She seemed to love music, books, and car rides. As with most children, she was not a fan of having her sleep interrupted, although she usually briefly woke up and cooperated during one of her many ultrasounds. In both life and death, Kyra taught her parents a great deal about faith and strengthened their marriage.
In addition to her parents, she is deeply mourned by her grandparents, Kenneth and Myra Ruth Webb of Palmyra, VA, and Jerry and Cindy Farley and Sherry Peppers White, all of Arley, AL; her aunts and uncles Diane (Kevin) Hannah, William (Sheryl) Webb, Robert (Jody) Webb, Tricia Webb, Christy (Bob) Vineyard, and Daniel Redmill; and cousins Ashli (Todd) Rushing, Jeremy Webb, Joshua Webb, Michael Webb, Jordain Webb, Dustin Howery, Victoria Howery, Paul Hannah, Luke Vinyard, Graham Rushing, and Anna Grace Rushing; and many loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate a donation in Kyra's honor be made to your favorite children's charity or to the Children's Council of Watauga County (www.thechildrenscouncil.org). We also ask that each of you hug your precious children a little tighter for us.
We appreciate the outpouring of love and kindness that we have been shown during this difficult time. To allow our family and friends near and far to mourn with us, memorial services will be held in Banner Elk on April 30th, Palmyra on May 13th, and Arley on June 17th. Further details will be provided.
