Kyle Baur

Kernersville- Mr. Kyle William Baur, 46, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at his residence. He was born December 22, 1975, in Bethlehem, PA and worked for IQE of North Carolina and Pennsylvania for over 20 years. Kyle was an engineer and a true craftsman working on many projects from home improvements, remodeling to gardening and many more. He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, camping and R.C. Cars. His huge heart, generosity and willingness to help anyone showed in his everyday life. Kyle will always be remembered by his many qualities. Part of his big personality was always teasing and joking around with everyone, including his co-workers on a daily basis. Kyle enjoyed the hustle and bustle that is involved being a single parent, but most of all loved spending quality time with his children to whom he was devoted. Kyle has touched all of our hearts and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Svajdlenka and family friend, Lee Shumate. Survivors include his mother, Christie Svajdlenka of Wilmington; his children Olivia (Peanut) and Trevor (Buddy) Baur of the home; his sister, Kelly, and brother-in-law, Brian Golden, nieces, Parker and Peyton all of Nazareth, PA; his maternal grandmother, Ann Marie Svajdlenka of Northampton, PA; his loyal dog Calvin, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. A Celebration of Kyle’s Life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Monday, January 24, 2022, at Gypsy Road Brewing Company in Kernersville. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
