To our beloved, Kristin Blair Charles - Through our tears, stories, and remembering smiles, we will celebrate you and who you are. With your bright presence and approach to life you have shown us that the brevity of life creates beauty, that stress and worries are unnecessary, and that the love of family and friends transcends all. In your honor this poem, ""The Angel"", has been written: The Creator lavished upon you a spirit that refused to be tethered. Halos and wings are hymns written ever so elegantly across your wrists. Ethereal realms are poised now in the ease of your laughter. Aloft with your wings, you are a poem that bellows brilliance into the night sky. Never have the stars spread their grandeur as they do now that you emblazon the heavens with your smile. Go before us, sweet one. Eternity kneels by your side. Love, light, and laughter are the blessings you have lavished upon us. Our precious angel, Kristin Blair Charles, 27, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born September 2, 1983 in Winston-Salem, the sweet daughter of Joan and Ronnie Charles. After graduating from Glenn High School in 2000 where she played softball and volleyball, Kristin received her Esthetician degree. She went on to work as an Esthetician/Make-Up Artist for Estee Lauder at Belk. Kristin used this passion and special gift to fulfill her life's goal- to make others smile and feel beautiful. Kristin is survived by her parents Ronnie A. & Joan S. Charles and her brother Taylor A. Charles. She also leaves her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Kathleen Satterfield; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruth S. Charles; and a very loving family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
