Ms. Kimberly Anne Durham, 38, of Winston-Salem, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 11, 2022. Kim was born at Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. on July 15, 1983, to William Rommie Durham, Jr. and Victoria Real Durham. She graduated from Graham Webb International Academy of Hair in Arlington, VA where she studied cosmetology and later became the Director of Graham Webb Academy. Kim was extremely creative and was a lover of art, hair, nails, fashion, singing, dancing, cosmetics, and people. Kim was a gifted linguist which was a huge part of her identity. She embraced many cultures and people. Kim had a heart of gold and was always willing to help people in their time of need. Kim was involved in church throughout her life including the children’s ministry. It was important to keep her children involved in the Christian Church. She was happiest during the holidays and loved to decorate, bake, and do crafts and activities with the kids. In addition to her parents, Kim is survived by her children, Joseph Gregory Teofanes Coutiño-Durham, Jocelyn Victoria Sincuir-Durham, Julianna Nicole Ramirez-Durham, Rafael James Ramirez Durham, and John Michael Goad; and her sister, Allison Elaine Carannante (Pasquale). Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Matthew Sink officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Parklawn Memorial Park.
