Mr. Kevin White Allen, 53, of Winston Salem, NC passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 1, 2022. Kevin was born in Queens, NY on November 26, 1968, and was lovingly adopted at birth by Clark and Beverley Allen. He was raised in Clinton, New Jersey where he enjoyed a wonderful childhood filled with love. Kevin enjoyed reading, learning, was an avid skier and tennis player and proudly earned the honor of Eagle Scout.
In his adulthood, Kevin enjoyed cooking and entertaining, traveling, college football and spending time with his family and friends. Kevin worked for many years in restaurant management and served as a regional manager with O’Charley’s. After many years Kevin transitioned to working in the apparel industry where he was proudly employed by Fanatics. Kevin worked closely with many wonderful colleagues and was known for having great passion for his work and for the integrity in which he conducted business. Kevin’s greatest passions in this life were being a husband to his wife of 19 years, Julie Allen, and an amazing father to his children. Kevin led his family with love, honor and pride. He made everyone he met feel special, loved,and valued.
Preceding him in death are his father, Clark Allen and his step-father, Arnold Sasseen. Surviving is his loving wife, Julie Aiken Allen; his children, Mitchell, Jack and Carter Allen; Grayson Allen, Cody Allen and Wyatt Allen; mother, Beverley Sasseen; brothers, George Allen and Christopher Allen; sisters, Daydra Hawkins, Kelly Allen, Nicole Allen, and Danielle Allen; father & mother-in-law, Steve and Debbie Aiken; brother in-law and sister in-law Pete and Kerri Senger; nephews Bentley and Drew Senger and a niece, Macy Senger.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Dr. Johnny McKinney officiating. The family will have a reception following the service at the Brookberry Lake House in Winston Salem, NC. In lieu of flowers, Kevin would be honored if you would leave a generous gratuity to the next service industry employee, many of whom worked for Kevin through the years.
