Kent Lee Spainhour

Mr. Kent Lee Spainhour, 61, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008 in Florida. He was born October 13, 1947 in Forsyth County to the late Lester and Irene Jessup Spainhour. He enjoyed the outdoors, going to the beach, and traveling. Surviving are two sisters, Della Roberts and Betty Webb; three brothers, Larry Spainhour (Elaine), Tommy Spainhour (Margo), and Johnny Spainhour (Joann); numerous nieces and nephews; also surviving is a special friend, Douglas Matthews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, December 1, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel with Pastor Robert Motsinger officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 4 A Oak Branch Dr. Greensboro, NC 27407.
