Kent Karol Pistel

Mr. Kent Karol Pistel, 52, of Winston-Salem died Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born April 26, 1961 in Baltimore MD, the son of the late, Kirk and Viola Peterson Pistel. Mr. Pistel was a graduate of Titusville High School in Titusville, FL and Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Survivors include his partner, Mark Jackson of the home; three sisters, Laurel Farley and husband, Corkey of Sacramento, CA and Trina DelaNuez and Trisha Meeks and husband, Roy of Titusville, FL; three brothers, Kirk Pistel and wife, Mary of Wilmington, NC, Scott Pistel and wife, Roxanne of Titusville, FL and Eric Pistel and wife, Jamie of Nashville, TN; and thirteen nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Oaklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway.
